Dear Awesome, Wonderful, Magnificent Parents,

Thank you for donating food, your time, and talents to help make the Indian PowWow a success. (We even found out that one of our moms is quite an actress. She may have missed her calling in life.) The children had so much fun playing games, making Indian crafts, and eating Indian food. In Music, the children did a rain dance. The next morning when it rained, one of the little girls remarked to her mom that it must have worked. The children were very well behaved and involved in the learning process. This couldn’t have been accomplished without your help.

Do you realize what amazing room moms we have this year? Mrs. Beukema, Mrs. Leunk, Mrs. McCormack, and Mrs. Rehfeldt are so organized and have such great ideas. When you see them around, please let them know how much we appreciate them.

On December 13, we will have our Colonial Christmas Celebration. We will need help the entire day that day so please put that date on your calendar. The children will need to dress up like colonial boys and girls on that day. Rumor has it that we have costumes. We do not have thirty. We can help, but not everyone. It makes us sad when we have to turn someone away. Ask children who have been in third grade before as well. All the boys need to wear is a black pair of baseball pants, long white socks, and their mom’s white blouse and ….. Wa La! A colonial boy! We will have a meeting when we get back from Thanksgiving to discuss the details of this special day.

We want to wish you a very safe and happy Thanksgiving. Please know that we are blessed and privileged to work with your sweet children and great parents like you.

In Him,
Cindy and Kathy
