IMPORTANT NEWS FROM BRADENTON CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

February 28, 2005

Dear Parents and Students,

Once again the Lord has blessed our school by the success of both our varsity girls and varsity boys basketball teams. The boys will play this Tuesday, March 1, for the Regional Semi-Final Game at St. John Lutheran in Ocala at 7:00pm. Your attendance and support is appreciated.

The girls have earned the privilege to play in the State Semi-Final game held at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland this Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 10:00am. Due to the timing of this game, the great support of our students, parents, and faculty, and in accordance with School Board policy, school will not be in session on Wednesday. Therefore all of our Panther fans will have the opportunity to make the trip to Lakeland and join together to support our girls and coaches. As in the past, it is our hope to have a large crowd present to cheer our team on to the State Championship Game. Should the girls win on Wednesday, they will play at 12:00pm, this Friday, March 4, for the State Championship.

We have checked with our accreditation standards, and we exceed the instructional time required. Therefore at this time there will be no make up days. We are considering offering child care for elementary school students only. If you are interested, contact the elementary school office by 12:00pm Tuesday at 792-5454 ext.100.

This is a wonderful time for our entire school family to come together and celebrate the success of a great season. The Lord has blessed BCS with wonderful players and coaches. We would like to congratulate our coaches, Girls Varsity Head Coach Jim VanTil, and his assistant coaches Jason Maas, Sarah Gobczynski, and Ron Vis, and Boys Varsity Head Coach David Magley, and his assistant coaches Sergio Negrin, Raleigh Dumas, and Chris Kawcak, and of course congratulations to each player. In addition, we are so thankful to Mrs. Magley and the support of the Pep Band and to Mrs. Michaelsen and the Cheerleading squad for their enthusiastic cheering.

We will keep our web site updated with the latest information and scores. We appreciate your support as we cheer our teams as they glorify God with their talents and abilities.

Cordially in Christ,

The Administration
