- The teacherfiles is a site with a variety of links to educational
websites based on subject area.
- How Stuff Works
- This is THE site to navigate to if you have ever wondered how a particular
thing works. Very extensive descriptions & explanations are provided
in language that is understandable and usually with detailed images
and diagrams. Examples of information to be found: glowsticks, space
shuttles, the sun, wildfires, and cell phones.
- FunBrain
- Excellent site of educational games for kids from ages 6 to 17 covering
math, social studies, science, language arts, Spanish, Chemistry, etc.
Teacher Homework Instructions:
- Download the following templates to your My Documents. Do this by either
clicking on the link and choosing Save or right clicking on the link and
choosing "Save target as".
- Homework1 — Separated by class
with the days of the week under each one.
- Homework2 — Separated by days
of the week with classes listed under each one.
- These files are templates that can be opened, changed and renamed
in Microsoft Word.
- Open the file in Word.
- Enter and change the information as needed. You may need to copy and paste
some of the information to the bottom of the page if you have more classes.
- Once you have completed your changes, save the file as a web page. Name
it your first initial and your last name (ex - kcunard).
- In newer versions of Word, you do this by going to file on the menu bar
and choosing "Save as Web Page".
- In older versions of Word, you go to file and choose "Save As...".
In the file type, choose html.
- Send an email to Kel Cunard
with the html file as an attachment.
