Bradenton Christian School (BCS), located in Bradenton, Florida, is a Christ-centered college preparatory school, accredited by the Middle States and Christian Schools of Florida (CSF) and members of Christian Schools International (CSI). The faculty is fully accredited and certified with most having 20+ years of experience. Founded in 1960, it is the oldest and largest private Christian school in Manatee County and has a solid reputation for high standards in the community.
Classes are offered from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The student population is approximately 550 students that reside in Manatee and Sarasota Counties. The campus rests on twenty four acres and includes a secondary school building, an elementary school building, the McClure Center of Fine Arts and Technology,and the recently renovated Gymnasium.
Academics are characterized as college preparatory which include dual enrollment, honor and AP classes.
BCS is a 3A school and is a member of the Bay Conference. Interscholastic sports are offered at both the senior high and middle school levels including Basketball, Baseball, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball and Track & Field.
