Founded in 1960, BCS is an independent institution governed by a nine member Board of Directors elected by the BCS Family Association.

The BCS mission is to provide a quality education rooted in God's Word, and to prepare the hearts and minds of God's children in partnership with the Christian community for service in God's world.

*Approximately 550 students enrolled in Preschool, Elementary, and Secondary

*Student/Faculty ratio averages 8:1 Preschool; 15:1 Elementary, 15:1 Secondary

*The student population represents 100+ churches and multiple denominations including Baptist, Christian Reformed, Church of God, Presbyterian, Non-Denominational, Catholic, Pentacostal and many more.

*Accreditations include Middle States & Christian Schools of Florida and members of Christian School International (CSI).

*Faculty hold undergraduate degrees with many holding advanced degrees; all are state certified. 

*BCS is a 3A school in most sports and is a member of the Bay Conference.

*Interscholastic sports are offered at both the senior high and middle school levels including Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball and Track.
