Founded in 1960, BCS is an independent institution governed by a nine member Board of Directors elected by the BCS Family Association
The BCS mission is to provide a quality education rooted in God's Word, and to prepare the hearts and minds of God's children in partnership with the Christian community for service in God's world.
Approximately 575 - 600 students enrolled: 70 Preschool, 230 Elementary, 300 Secondary
Student/Faculty ratio averages 9:1 Preschool; 14:1 Elementary, 15:1 Secondary
The student population represents 100+ churches and multiple denominations including Baptist, Christian Reformed, Church of God, Presbyterian, Non-Denominational, Catholic, Pentacostal and many more
Accreditations include AdvancEd Worldwide (formerly SACS), Christian School International, & Christian Schools of Florida
Faculty hold undergraduate degrees with many holding advanced degrees; all are state certified
BCS is a 1A school and is a member of the Bay Conference
Interscholastic sports are offered at both the senior high and junior high levels including Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball and Track.
