Celebrating 50+ Years of Christian Education

Fifty years ago on September 6, 1960, the doors of Bradenton Christian School opened. A group of parents were inspired to provide a Christ-centered education for their children. The endurance of those first families has been graciously blessed by God. BCS has grown from a small first through fifth grade elementary school into a fully accredited preschool through grade 12 institution that seeks to prepare the hearts and minds of God's children. Join us this year as we celebrate God's gifts of endurance, encouragement and hope (Romans 15:4) as we look back on 50 years of Christian education in the Bradenton-Sarasota area. 

We are celebrating God’s goodness for the past 52 years! The Birthday Bash on September 7, 2010 marked the anniversary of the day that BCS welcomed students for the first time. It was a special evening with over 350 people joining the celebration. Several founding members were in attendance and were honored for their part in fulfilling God's mission. Check out the pictures from the Birthday Bash celebration in our Media Gallery.
