Instructions for Using Microsoft PowerPoint

It is a common practice to copy a PowerPoint presentation in order to open it on another computer.
NOTE: This option is not available on Macintosh versions of PowerPoint.
Copying a PowerPoint presentation to a CD:
If you are saving a PowerPoint presentation to a CD-R or CD-RW drive, you will probably only need one disk.
Be sure that all of your presentation's images, sounds, videos, etc. (except those from PowerPoint clipart) are located on the same directory as the presentation.
If the destination computer does have PowerPoint installed, don't include the Viewer
OR
If the destination computer does not have PowerPoint installed, be sure to save the PowerPoint document as a Power Point Show. To do this, click on "Save As" and under "Save As Type" click and scroll down until you see "Power Point Show." This will save sounds, animation and transitions into your document. Then save this to your computer under My Documents. Then copy it to your CD or Flash Drive.

Starting the PowerPoint Presentation
If you have saved your PowerPoint presentation to a CD or Flash Drive, insert the disk or Flash drive
From the Start menu, select My Computer » CD Drive or Removable Drive :
Double click the CD Drive or Removable Drive
Double click the PowerPoint icon.
This should open the slide show presentation immediately.
Press the F5 key to start the slide show presentation.
