Bradenton Christian Preschool is pleased to announce some
important changes to our program for the 2006 - 2007 school year.
Pre kindergarten classes:
Our
preschool has provisional registration as a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK)
Provider for the 2006 - 2007 school year. This FREE state funded program
is offered to all children who will be 4 years old before September 1,
2006. The classroom hours will be 8 AM - 11 AM, 5 days per week. Extended
hours
will be offered (11 AM - Noon or 11 AM - 3:05 PM) for a fee. Our program
will continue to provide our Bible based curriculum and to offer weekly
special classes in Spanish, music, library, computer, and physical education.
There
will also be a LIMITED number of openings available in each of the 2 VPK
classrooms to 4 year old students who choose to attend PreK three days
per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, half or full days). These students
would not meet the VPK instructional hour requirements and would therefore
need to pay the standard tuition.
Three Year Olds:
This year we will have
a designated 3 year old classroom which will allow us to offer more program
options.
Three year olds may attend 2 days per week
(Tuesday & Thursday), 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)
or 5 days per week. All choices provide the half day (8 AM - Noon) or full
day (8AM - 3:05 PM) options. Students in the three year old classes need
to be 3 years old before September 1, 2006 and toilet trained. Since these
students will not meet the age requirements for VPK , they will need to
pay the standard preschool tuition.
