About Us

Bradenton Christian School (BCS), located in Bradenton, Florida, is a Christ-centered college preparatory school, which includes dual enrollment, honor and AP classes. BCS is accredited by the Middle States and Christian Schools of Florida (CSF) and members of Christian Schools of Florida (CSF). The faculty is fully accredited and certified with most having 20+ years of experience. Founded in 1960, it is the oldest and largest private Christian school in Manatee County and has a solid reputation for high standards in the community.

The BCS mission is to provide a quality education rooted in God's Word, and to prepare the hearts and minds of God's children in partnership with the Christian community for service in God's world.

BCS offers PreK through 12th grade. We currently have over 700 students enrolled. The campus rests on twenty-four acres and includes a Secondary School Building, an Elementary School Building, the McClure Center of Fine Arts and Technology, Gymnasium and our newest building, the Mary Jane Spencer Athletic Center.

BCS is a 3A school and is a member of the Bay Conference. Interscholastic sports are offered at both the senior high and middle school levels including Basketball, Baseball, Cross-country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball and Wrestling.
