With the recent increase in Covid-19 cases in the area, we ask for your continued prayers for BCS and for our school families. As a school, we have stocked up on hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and sprays, and UV wands.  As we start the new school year, we will stress the importance of handwashing, sanitizing, and covering sneezes and coughs with our arms and would appreciate your support and encouragement of this at home as well. We support each family in its decision to mask or not to mask. We also ask that you continue to be diligent in monitoring your child’s health and not send a child to school with any symptoms. Please note that, as with other illnesses, students with any symptoms will be sent home immediately.

How long do I have to self-isolate after being infected with COVID-19?

You can be around others after:
● 10 days since symptoms first appeared or a positive test and
● 24 hours with no fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and
● Other symptoms of COVID-19 are improving*

*Loss of taste and smell may persist for weeks or months after recovery and need not delay the end of isolation
