Fine Arts & Technology

Artistic talent is a God-given gift that can be honed through discipline and study. At BCS we believe that exposure to creativity nourishes the soul and opens the mind. So, we invite students to blend their gifts and faith through arts, music and drama.

Our 17,000 square foot McClure Center for Fine Arts and Media Technology provides the perfect venue. The McClure Center also houses two large music rooms, ensemble practice booths and video/sound production studios. The students use the accomodations to produce a video program used throughout the elementary classrooms on a regular basis. Students create, edit and anchor the on-air program.

Students bring their concert, chapel and drama productions to the stage either in the Elementary Auditorium or in the newly renovated Wichers Auditorium. The Auditorium boasts state-of-the-art acoustic, sound, light and AV systems. Music students appreciate the enhanced stage which can accommodate a full orchestra.

Our Media Center offers a myriad of research tools including two computer labs in addition to a bank of computers and bound books to enhance learning. A wide range of services are offered to our student body and faculty as well. The following list includes recommended resources for students and families. Each year, BCS subscribes to online resources to augment the research opportunities in the public realm.
