WHY WE FUNDRAISE
At BCS we fundraise to keep tuition affordable. We have budgeted $250,000 to raise in order to help needy families and to cover our budget. For this coming school year 2019-20, we are going to add this budgeted amount to our Capital Campaign of $2,000,000 making our total goal $2,250,000. Our BCS budget will be taken care of first, but all of our donations and fundraisers will be put toward this goal.
In addition, volunteering or participating in our fundraising blesses our students and families in so many ways. We invite you to participate!

This is a wonderful evening of fellowship and raising funds for BCS. We will announce our speaker(s) soon and we are excited to share this evening with you.
The BCS Gala is a semi-formal dinner event held on campus in Wichers Auditorium. We have had an incredible history of Christian speakers including Oliver North, Tony Dungy, Truett Cathy, Ben Zobrist, Nik Walenda, Clint Hurdle. The evening lasts from about 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm. Our middle school Builders Club helps serve the dinner while we also have BCS students perform in some capacity. The evening is a lovely way to give guests a glimpse into the heart of BCS and it is a gateway for guests to donate to our school. This year our Gala is Friday, November 8, 2019, at 6:30 pm.

Last year we had our own internal Giving Challenge, but this school year the Patterson Foundation and the local Community Foundations are offering another official GIVING CHALLENGE! Over the past five years, BCS has raised over $400,000 from the official Giving Challenge and nearly half of this funding was “FREE MONEY” that was granted to BCS because of your participation. Our local Sarasota and Manatee County Foundations and the Patterson Foundation offer matching funds and grants during this 24 hour time period. Be ready to help BCS be on top again.
