2023 Gala - ILLUMINATE!

Bradenton Christian School is excited to present our BCS 2023 Gala – ILLUMINATE! with featured guest speaker Bob Delaney on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 6:30pm in Wichers Auditorium at BCS.

Bob Delaney has risen to the top of two elite organizations. First, Delaney has served in law enforcement for the New Jersey State Police and has become a highly decorated trooper, and second, as one of the National Basketball Association’s most respected referees and NBA Vice President Director of Officials. He currently is the Southeastern Conference Special Advisor for Officiating Development/Performance. For the past four decades Delaney has provided leadership, resiliency, post trauma training for military, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders and the healthcare community. He is well known as an author narrating the clandestine life he led before becoming a professional basketball referee. BCS is a special place to Bob as he is a dad to a BCS alum and is currently a BCS grandfather. 

Our evening’s Emcee will be BCS class of 2008, Cody Podor. Cody is an author, teacher, and currently serves as Discipleship Pastor of North River Church in Parrish, Florida. He has a passion to equip followers of Christ for faithful and effective ministry. He is the author of three books and received his PhD in Systematic Theology. He is married to Katie, and they have two children.
