Panthercare is an extended care program provided by BCS for BCS Elementary students.

Panthercare is available after full days that school is in session and begins at 3:15 pm and ends at 5:30 pm. Children may be picked up by any of the pre-authorized adults on your pick-up list in RenWeb. Panthercare costs $15 per student, per day. Parents should complete registration on-line at: https://www.bcspanthers.org/academics/elementary/panther-care. Students that attend aftercare without pre-regristation will be billed a drop-in rate of $20/day via their FACTS account. If school is scheduled as a half day, Panthercare is not available.

Panthercare Flexible Schedule:

We begin our afternoon with homework time. Students are encouraged to keep a book to read in their backpacks for when they do not have homework. Kindergarten students and students without homework, are engaged with indoor activities such as arts and crafts.

After homework time, we go outside for free play. This is also an opportunity for children to eat a snack they have brought from home. Snacks are not provided by Panthercare.

Finally, we go indoors where we have various inside activities such as board games, crafts, movies, and computer lab.

Should you have a change in plans regarding your child’s attendance any certain day, please communicate that with their teacher. Teachers will drop off students who are not picked up from the car line to Panthercare at 3:15 pm.

 

Preschool

BCS Main Campus Panthercare is available after full days that school is in session from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. Panthercare costs $15 per day for attendance and it will be billed monthly to your FACTS account. For a preschooler to attend Panthercare, you need to elect

Preschool students will be transported by a BCS school bus to the main campus where they will then be received by the BCS Panthercare staff in the Elementary auditorium. For the safety of all students, pick-up will not be an option while students are departing the bus.

Children may be picked up by pre-authorized adults on your pick-up list in RenWeb after 3:00 and before 5:30. If you arrive early at the main campus, you are welcome to check in at the Elementary office.
