Builders Club is an extra-curricular service club sponsored by Kiwanis. It is open to all middle school students. We do monthly service projects in the middle school building. It is a great way for students to earn their required service hours with their friends while being a light in our community. For more information, you may contact middle school teachers Debbie Romaniello and Cindy Ellis.
The drama program provides an opportunity for all high school students to have their time on stage and learn how theater works. We have an average of 50+ students working on everything from acting, stage crew, set design, technology, hair/make-up/costume design, choreography, food service, and event planning. It’s a great way for students of all ages and skill levels to bond together in a team environment. Parents are also invited to volunteer and participate in putting together the production.
Mission Statement: Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership.
Each year, our BCS Key Club partners with Samaritan's Purse through Operation Christmas Child, collecting and packing over 200 shoeboxes for children around the world. We also maintain strong support for The Leukemia Society and the American Heart Association through vigorous fundraising efforts to further research and support for those fighting leukemia, other cancers, and heart disease. Additionally, we participate monthly in community Coastal Cleanup days and other service projects to be a light in our community and the hands and feet of Jesus. Our club's theme verse is I John 3:18: "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is an organization of 7th and 8th grade students nationwide that are recognized for the qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. BCS is blessed to have a Senior High chapter of the National Honor Society. The purpose of our honor society is to advance Christian scholarship, challenge Christian leadership, honor Christian character, and stimulate Christian service. Members must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on an unweighted 4.0 scale) to be inducted into and to remain a member of the society. An NHS induction ceremony is held in the fall of each school year. Society members select service projects, such as peer tutoring to fulfill their service requirement. At the graduation ceremony, Senior High Honor Society members are provided with a special honor stole to wear to honor their achievement. We believe the National Honor Society makes a positive difference in the lives of individuals and in the spirit of the community and BCS.

Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national organization devoted exclusively to the needs of high school students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). It offers rewarding experiences through competition in such fields as communication, agriculture, biotechnology, web design, and leadership. With such diverse events, students can explore different fields in search of something they are passionate about. TSA also allows students to get a taste of real-life experiences, such as impromptu problem solving, developing a resume, and working as a team to achieve a common goal. These are the skills that students will use constantly throughout their lives. TSA allows students to discover their STEM potential by offering a vast number of opportunities that help them determine their careers.
