Serving with Shirley

After studying John 13, where Jesus teaches His disciples by humbly serving them, Mrs. VanDuinen’s high school Bible class put faith into action. ๐Ÿ’™

Instead of a typical Friday lesson, students spent their class time “Serving with Shirley” in our PAC building—helping with various jobs around campus and blessing others through simple acts of service.

Jesus reminds us that greatness in the Kingdom isn’t found in being served, but in serving others. What a beautiful picture of students living out the call to love, serve, and lead like Christ. โœ๏ธ๐Ÿงน

Hands on Learning!

๐Ÿฆ‘ Hands-on learning in action! ๐Ÿงชโœจ

Our high school students at Bradenton Christian School had an exciting opportunity to dissect squid in science class—turning curiosity into discovery! Under the guidance of Ms. Davis, learning comes alive as students explore God’s incredible design through hands-on experiences.

Ms. Davis has a gift for making science fun, meaningful, and engaging, while continually encouraging students to grow, ask questions, and enjoy the learning process. Moments like these remind us that studying creation is another way to marvel at the creativity of our Creator. ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ“– “Great are the works of the Lord; they are studied by all who delight in them.” — Psalm 111:2

We love seeing our students learn, laugh, and grow in wisdom—mind, heart, and faith! ๐Ÿ’™โœ๏ธ

Field Day 2025

The air was cool with a soft breeze, and not a cloud in the sky. You could hear the faint chants of the elementary students from a distance as they approached the field dressed in unified theme. This could mean only one thing: Field Day!

For best dressed in grades K-2, Mrs. Hullinger’s class took home the trophy with their take on Snow White and the mine train, narrowly beating out the “Bright Strites.” For grades 3-5, 4th grade stormed the gym floor chanting “USA, USA, USA!” as they took home the prize for their patriotic red, white, and blue theme.

For the finale, everyone performed a praise and worship dance to the song “Praise” by Elevation Worship and Brandon Lake. Students, volunteers, and teachers all danced and praised God during the song, making it the highlight of the day. Field Day 2025 was undeniably one of the best in school history. We can’t wait till next year!
